Do I have to log into a new platform to use VetScript?

No, VetScript is built to work inside PetBooqz. There’s no need to switch platforms or open a separate ordering portal.

How does VetScript fit into my current prescribing workflow?

Once you create an e-script in PetBooqz, VetScript pre-fills patient and medication information, sends the e-script securely to your selected external authorised pharmacy, and records it back into the practice software.

Will this change how I manage patient records or dispensing logs?

Every VetScript generated in PetBooqz is saved in the patient’s history. This makes it easy for vets to reference what was prescribed to a patient historically, especially when medications are sourced from external pharmacies. This supports compliance and traceability, and removes the need to store paper records.

Can I choose which pharmacy receives the script?

Yes, you select the pharmacy. VetScript has a national network of pharmacies and is adding more all the time.

How do I pay for my orders?

Once VetScript’s integration is enabled, you can pay for your orders directly to the pharmacy. You can also view a comprehensive product list within your practice software to see what’s available.

What safety checks are in place to avoid errors?

VetScript shows a full preview before submitting. All fields are pre-filled but editable, so you're always in control.

Is VetScript compliant with current prescribing regulations?

Yes. VetScript is designed to meet state-based prescribing standards. The e-script is sent directly to the pharmacy, which enables faster dispensing, with the paper original posted afterwards.

Can I cancel or amend a script after sending it?

Yes, scripts can be cancelled as long as the pharmacy hasn’t dispensed them. Update or replace a script by cancelling the original. If the script has already been dispensed, you must contact the pharmacy to reverse it before cancellation is possible in PetBooqz.
